Written Terms

Our Lifetime Warranty.

Every repair we complete is backed by a written warranty — not just a verbal promise. This page explains exactly what that covers, what it doesn't, and how to use it.

What's covered

Auto Art Paint & Body Repair guarantees the workmanship and paint finish on the specific repair we performed, for as long as you own the vehicle. If a defect related to that repair develops — paint failure (peeling, cracking, or fading on the repaired area), panel fit issues, or a workmanship defect — contact us and we will make it right at no charge.

What's not covered

  • New damage, or damage from a separate incident (another collision, another parking-lot hit, hail, etc.)
  • Normal wear and tear, fading from age or sun exposure on the vehicle's original (non-repaired) paint
  • Damage caused by improper care, an automated car wash with abrasive brushes, or chemical damage after the repair
  • Parts or components not directly part of the repair we performed
  • Prior damage or mechanical issues unrelated to the repaired area

Factory color matching

We use computerized OEM color matching to blend every repair into your factory finish as closely as possible. In most cases the result blends in well under normal viewing conditions. That said, no shop can promise a mathematically exact or completely invisible match every time — sun exposure, panel age, prior repairs, and the angle/lighting a panel is viewed under can all affect how closely a blend reads next to older factory paint. We'll always give you a straight answer about what to expect on your specific vehicle before we start.

How to make a claim

Contact us at 512-300-6033 or info@autoartrecon.com with your name, the repair order or invoice number if you have it, and a description or photo of the issue. We'll take it from there.

Transferability

This warranty covers the repair for as long as the vehicle is owned by the customer the repair was originally performed for. If you sell the vehicle, please contact us to ask about transferring coverage to the new owner.
